Salicrop recently conducted groundbreaking field trials of enhanced onion seeds in the challenging, saline soils of southern Israel's desert region. In collaboration with Yotveta Farm, these trials have delivered exceptional results:

38% increase in onion yields and a 50% increase in farmers' income, thanks to the superior quality and market price of the produce. Following our previous season's success, where we achieved a 17% increase in the weight of marketable onions, we have now expanded our trials to larger areas and are testing additional varieties to maximize resilience in saline conditions.
